THE REAL G'S MOVE IN SILENCE LASAGNA

SERVES 8-10

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 Lasagna Noodles, cooked al dente and drained (recommended brand: DeCecco)

  • 1 lb. of Grass-Fed, Organic Ground Beef

  • 1 large jar of Marinara Sauce (recommended brand: Rao's)

  • EVOO

  • salt-n-pepa

  • 2 eggs

  • fresh parsley (just a few sprigs, no 6'7', 8' bunches necessary

  • 1 1/2 cups of Ricotta cheese

  • 2 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese

  • 3/4 cups of shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 3 cloves of garlic 

  • fresh basil (just a few sprigs, no 6'7', 8' bunches necessary

METHOD

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400
  2. Heat a frying pan with EVOO and saute the garlic. Add in the ground beef and cook completely throughout. Drain any fats and oil from the pan and safely dispose. Put on simmer and add in the marinara sauce, stirring occasionally. 
  3. In a medium to large bowl, combine all cheeses (Ricotta, Mozzarella, Parmesan), fresh parsley, fresh basil, and the two eggs.
  4. Line a large baking pan with a layer of noodles. Then follow with a spread layer of the cheese mixture. Then follow with the meat sauce. Repeat 3 or 4x for layers on layers. 
  5. Bake for 30 mins. Turn on low broil for 2-3 mins at the end to make the cheese extra bubbly on top!
